Players

A player is six skills that add up to an OVR, a position, an age band, an energy figure and a check-up date. These pages cover each of them, what moves it, and where players come from.

The numbers in one place#

  • OVR is the sum of the six skills, and no player's six skills exceed 999 together.
  • Three age bands: 18 to 22, 23 to 27, 28 to 33. They set energy spend (0.8, 1.0, 1.2 of base), recovery (1.2, 1.0, 0.8) and, with OVR, the player's value.
  • A full match costs 8, 10 or 12 energy by band, half in cups; a recovery session returns 8 before the Physio and band factors.
  • Injuries last 1 to 10 days; a check-up is due every 30 days.
  • Training adds 1.0 to 1.5 skill points per 23-hour session by Coach.
  • A player's last season is marked with a red R at 31, 32 or 33.
