Rookie League
Every new club may enter the Rookie League: one shared table, 26 Game Days and a new Swiss-style pairing each round. After the inaugural season fills the league pyramid, the top 256 go straight to Amateur and the next 512 play off for it.
Entering a running season#
Registration remains open from the Rookie League screen while a season is active. You do not wait for a new season or for a fourteen-club division to fill: the club is added to the one shared table and enters the first future Game Day draw that has not been finalised. If the nearest draw is already closed, the first fixture comes in the following available draw. If all 26 Game Days have finished, the first fixture belongs to the next season.
Join the Rookie League pays an onboarding quest reward of 300,000. The separate Prepare an Official Match Lineup quest pays another 300,000 when you submit a lineup for an eligible official match, including a Rookie League fixture.
The draw#
Game Day 1 is the exception. Registered clubs are ordered by OVR XI and paired next to one another: first against second, third against fourth, and so on. From Game Day 2, and for clubs joining after the opening draw, the competition uses the current table.
The table is ordered first by points, then by fewer matches played, goal difference, goals scored, wins, the result between tied clubs and finally OVR XI. The draw works from the top down and looks for the nearest available opponent below each club. A pairing must also satisfy two season rules:
- The same two clubs cannot meet twice in one Rookie League season.
- The difference between a club's home and away fixtures cannot pass four.
Those constraints can send a club farther down the table than the nearest place. If the real-club field is odd, a system-controlled swing club balances the draw so a real club is not left without a fixture.
Table and season outcome#
A win is three points, a draw one and a loss zero. The Standings, Schedule and Statistics tabs cover all clubs in the same competition; your club is pinned above the list with its current rank. The inaugural season is different: places 1 to 448 enter Elite, 449 to 1,344 enter Pro, and 1,345 to 3,136 enter Amateur. Clubs below that remain in Rookie. In later seasons, after Game Day 26, places 1 to 256 earn direct promotion to Amateur. Places 257 to 768 enter two-legged transition play-offs against Amateur clubs defending their tier. Clubs relegated from Amateur return to the Rookie League.
The promotion places are fixed counts rather than percentages, so the cut becomes relatively harder as the shared table grows. Rookie matches use the same daily slot as the national championships. Salary is 0.15% of player value per match, and the attendance, Fame and union coefficient is 0.7.
